The blogging has started let the world of cyberspace beware .......
so now that the holidays are over are the dreams and aspirations everyone had for the future still the same. As one works towards their goals what is important and what is it that one holds as an undeniable truth? What is it that drives you to reach for the brass ring life gives to those who strive for it?
This years celebrations were enjoyed to the fullest by yours truly. Family is the ingredient that makes life so interesting and wonderful and I have been blessed to join one of the most interesting and funniest on the face of the earth. Thanks for being you
PEACE THOM
Hi Guys!
We all had a ball, but I am very glad to be on to the next project!
Thanks for doing this Rob! Also, thanks for the pizza! Great hanging with you guys as usual.
Hey Mike, did you get the christmas gift Finn left for you? We searched for a life sized speeder bike, but a storm trooper bought the last one 10 minutes before us! Sorry! Also, thanks for the Iron and Wine disc, I love it(also the Candle).
Happy Winter one and all,
Much love, Lynn
I think I am going to create a password for us all to use so it's "everybody's blog"....
I got A NASTY illness after we got home to Indy. I could feel it coming on the last two days we were back east. It nailed me but I am on the recovery trail!
Jen started her gig in Ohio and thinks it is going to be a killer cast. Very cool.
I had a commercial audition today where I had to improv being a british butler who was a "know-it-all"....so I did a section from the Agatha Christie play you guys saw last year! It amazes me how that stuff stays in your memory and you can get it back after a few tries at remembering it.....
Love you all!

Love yas!

Hi everybody!
I am still fighting whatever respiratory thing I had after we travelled back to Indy. I am back to hard workouts and don't have too much fatigue....just still having stuff come out of my nose that should only be coming out of old Elmer's Glue containers.....how's that for yummy!?!?!
Jen's show in Dayton is rehearsing and she is having a BALL!! Anybody who wants to take a bonzai trip out west will have access to some nice hotels and a great night of theatre. I am so proud of her for getting a gig at a theatre where nobody knew her at all...and she just came in a won it!
And I start my show in two weeks. It's the one that takes place inside the mind of a goat. It is friggin' funny. From the same guy who wrote UNDERNEATH THE LINTEL.
And Jen and I will be planning our trip to Scotland soon. We go in August, when I will perform in the Edinburgh Festival.
We are really lucky.
And yoga. Oh yoga. Anybody who needs a body makeover......please give yoga a try. It helps any body type, and age, at any stage of life......
Okay, I'm done with the sales-0pitch.
I love you guys. I look forward to being close to you all for eight whole weeks!!!!!
xoxo,
Rob
Hey guys!
Classes started up again today- blahhhh...if anyone knows how I can be a teacher and not have to go to school and spend more money then I will EVER make let me know because I really don't want to go. Imagine that- me the girl that loved going to school hates having to wake up in the morning and go..hahaha.. I am excited though because I did start all of my education classes (FINALLY) and the two classes I had today I think I am going to enjoy a lot! It is going to be a lot of work but I know I'll be fine..I am a Johansen and I do have the ability to get thru everything that is thrown at me.
I am exhausted- I've been traveling back and forth between Myrtle Beach and Charleston (about an hour and half drive) the past two days..
Y'all would be so disappointed in me though- It was 50 degrees out when I was leaving Charleston this morning and I looked at the guy I'm dating and started to complain about how cold it was. Someone explain to me how I ever make it 18years living on the hill through the winters???? It gets below 60 and I freeze!
Anywho- I suppose I should get some stuff done around the house..y'all have a great week!
Oh, Cassie!
50 degrees and you said it was COLD!?!??! Remind me to schmack you next time Jen and I come down there!
And hang in there with school. I am sure you know that no matter how tough, it is INFINITELY harder to drop out and go back later.....just ask your Dad! I am really glad he is back at it, and sure he's getting lots more out of it now, but I am also sure he wishes he had done it a few squares back....so hang in there!!!
Love you,
Uncle Rob
Hi! Rob I'm so glad you did this. Cassie turned me on to it. I'm on the computer all day at work so I'm not all that anxious to get on it at home so if I seem absent it's just because I'm not on the computer at all. I'm glad it sounds like everyone had a wonderful holiday as we did! Thom, it's interesting how you ask about what is important and what is an undeniable truth for you!?!? My mom gave me a book this Christmas, Mutant Message from Down Under. I couldn't put it down. A woman goes on a walkabout with the very last "real people" of the Aborigines. True story... will get you thinking... I think you will like it. I', hopeing (spelling?) some day I can make it up there when all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren are there. I would love to meet Michael & Debbie's little girl. I remember him when he was just a little punk coming to NJ with Uncle Roger. Joshua is here now and I love having all my children home together. You are truly blessed to have your grandchild close. My mom & dad are here on a monthly rental for the month of January. They are staying at Ocean Creek, my resort, and I love having access to them every single day. If anyone wants to come down I can get you a good deal on an room or we have a spare room and you can stay with us. We are literally 5 minutes from the beach! We just tore up the rug and put down wood floors, and Roger has been going crazy painting. Love the colors I picked! Roger & Cassie are going strong with school. Dustin is the assistant manager at Journeys. And Joshua is going legite with his t-shirt business and moving into a store because they outgrew their current space. Enjoying the last moments with my son so I'm going to log off but I will be back. Again, all are welcome to visit.
Peace!
Julie
ATTENTION TO ALL YOU PARENTS IN THE FAMILY!!! Hey guys- I have to ask ya'll a favor...save any kids books! I am going through the college of edcuation now and in 2 years I am going to be teaching. I figured I should probably start building a book collection for my classroom. I don't care if it is a first grade level or a 6th grade level. The more books the better. Also if you have any books from when the kids were younger (seeing as half the family has older children now) please see if you can find them for me! If you know any great titles of some kids books send them my way as well please! Thanks!!!!!
Oh Uncle Rob- totally thought about you this weekend- My boyfriend Matt and I went to a South Carolina Stingrays hockey game (the Red Barons of hockey down here...). I thought of you when we were there- didn't you used to play hockey...? or am I getting that old that I am losing my memory..??? I am hoping you did because I defintely told him that you used to play. I also explained to him that my family is a family divided- Rangers and Islanders...of course his response- only one real New York team- Buffalo Sabres. (I get that for football too...Giants are not a NY team..only the Bills are..) We will see how long I let him stick around--if you are going to be in this family, you have to understand real sports....haha
Love you all,
Cass
lord save us all- i spelled education wrong...
Cassie, you will have to tell your boyfriend he is mistaken, both the rangers and the Islanders play in New York.
wow.....sorry I haven't checked this in awhile....but Cassie....
You are dating a guy that says the only REAL NY teams are the Sabres and the Bill?!?!?!
Did he spend so much time upstate that his brain is permanently frozen? I guess to be a REAL NY team, you have to lose EVERY BIG GAME YOU ARE EVER IN!! Ask him how many super bowls the Bills played in...and how many they WON.
Not gettin' on you Cass. Just hope the dudes sports IQ isn't reflective of his his overall intelligence.
